My love for animals has been life long. I’ve always had pets as well as horses. I spent summers with my Grandparents, on their farm surrounded by farm animals, wildlife & house pets. In my teens, while there, I started volunteering at a veterinary office. I began working in the veterinary field nearly 4 decades ago and have been part of the Baldwin Animal Hospital since 1988. I am fortunate to be surrounded by great people who are as dedicated and care about pets as I do. They have become my extended family. At my home I live with my husband, daughter, our German Shepherd Dog, Riddick, and 4 cats, Kismet, Gandalf the Gray, Kaspurr aka Little Bear, Kit Kat.
Ruthie, Receptionist
Ruthie has been with us since 2012 and was born and raised in Baldwin. She had volunteered at Animal Care & Control for 3 years in Charlotte, NC. She has grown up with many pets and enjoys spending time with her husband and their son.
Kristy (with Tilly), Veterinary Assistant
I am a life long resident of Baldwin. I’ve been working at Baldwin Animal Hospital since 1986 after graduating the Nassau County BOCES Small Animal Tech program. I have always had pets in my life, furry, feathered or scaly. My inspiration for loving animals comes from my father; he is the reason for where I am today.
In my free time I enjoy a good martini, all kinds of music and going on long drives with my husband and doggie daughter Tilly. I have 5 cats that I love dearly, Rudy, Jaspa, Jezzabelle, Dylan and Cinna.
Jeannie (with "The Girl"), Veterinary Technician
Jeannie has been with The Baldwin Animal Hospital since the Spring of 2004. She is a life-long animal lover with over 20 years of animal care experience. She is currently owned by two cats; Ike and a pretty white hurricane she affectionately calls The Girl.
